ADVANTAGES OF MEMBERSHIP
Stamp collecting is a social activity. Membership in the Lakeshore Stamp Club offers the opportunity to meet other collectors who share the same interests as you. You will be able to discuss your finds and your research at Stamp Talks and attend several lectures of the Philatelic Discussion Group during the year. You can also improve your collection by purchasing stamps at the Club’s Bourse, at auctions, or from the Club official dealer who is present at most regular meetings. Stamp trading between Club members is also possible. The twice-monthly access to the Club’s Bourse and the on-site dealer gives you priority in purchasing new items. Not to mention that catalogs replaced by new editions are sold at one of our two annual auctions. You may also participate in organizing the annual exhibition and take part in other social activities such as the Christmas and end-of-season wine and cheese evenings.
