| LISTE DES COLLECTIONS EN COMPÉTITION 1-6 George Constantourakis OLYMPIC GAMES AND THEIR HISTORICAL DEVELOPMENT This Maxiphilately Exhibit attempts to illustrate the historical development of the Olympic Games from antiquity to the present day. 7-9 François Brisse A MARI USQUE AD MARE A survey of the PAQUEBOT postal markings on letters posted at sea entering Canada through harbours on the east and the west coasts. 10 Jean-Jacques Tillard SPM, LES CACHETS « PP » DE 1926 Ces cachets « PP » ont été utilisés pour combler un manque de timbres durant quelques mois à Saint-Pierre-et-Miquelon. 11-12 Yan Turmine LE TÉLÉGRAPHE AU CANADA Présentation d’enveloppes de livraison de télégrammes, de télégrammes et de timbres de courtoisie des débuts en 1867 jusqu’à la fin en 1970. Présentation par compagnies. 13 Mohan Patel THE PHILATELIC EVOLUTION OF MAURITIUS FROM 1867 TO EARLY 20th CENTURY The exhibit traces the philatelic development of Mauritius from 1867 onwards marking transition from colonial rule to mature systematic postal administration. 14 John McEntyre TYPES OF COVERED BRIDGES IN NORTHEAST NEW ENGLAND Most covered bridges are basically sheds with open ends, with one lane over one span. Exceptional types with other structure, lanes and spans are also displayed. 15-19 George Constantourakis LORD BYRON – THE ROMANTIC POET OF GENIUS AND CHAMPION OF LIBERTY This thematic exhibit focuses on two major aspects and is divided into four parts: 1. Family background. 2. Byron the poet. 3. Byron the champion of liberal causes. 4. On verra des cartes de l’Antiquité, de topographie, etc… 71-78 Michèle Cartier THE FRENCH REVOLUTIONARY WARS IN ITALY (1791-1815) Collection on postal history and marcophily with a specific focus on the historical and social aspects of the Napoleonic Wars. 79 André Dufresne LES TIMBRES QSL : LA POSTE INTERNATIONALE DES RADIOAMATEURS Les radioamateurs du monde entier confirment les contacts établis entre eux au moyen de cartes qu’on appelle « cartes QSL » qui s’apparentent à des cartes postales. Comme ils font des milliers de contacts, il n’est pas économiquement possible d’utiliser la poste pour expédier ces cartes.
