Lakeshore Stamp Club organise son exposition annuelle les 28 et 29 mars 2025. Elle aura lieu au Centre Communautaire Sarto-Desnoyers de Dorval.

| LISTE DES COLLECTIONS – LIST OF EXHIBITS COLLECTIONS EN COMPÉTITION – COMPETITIVE EXHIBITS 1-5 Michèle Cartier Postmarks of Hamburg (1673-1867) This collection lies in postal history and marcophily but with a pronounced emphasis on the historical aspect of Germany and especially the City of Hamburg. 6-8 Laurent Bélisle Montreal carrier handstamps This exhibit covers the three categories of cancels that can be linked to the appearance of a free home postal carrier system. 9-13 Mohan Patel Focus on postage stamps and postal history of East Africa (1873-1968) A philatelic journey through Zanzibar, British East Africa, German East Africa, Kenya Tanzania & Uganda, Urundi and Burundi. Purpose is to demonstrate evolution of the region through the lens of philately. 14-15 Michael Sudlow Great Britain – The premier issue – The imperforate Penny Black and Penny RED A chronological detailed study of the World’s first imperforates stamps, 1840 to 1851. 16-20 Georges Constantourakis LORD BYRON – The Romantic Poet of Genius and Champion of Liberty Thematic exhibit on Lord Byron: 1. Family Background, 2. Romantic Poet, 3. Champion of Liberty, 4. Legacy. 21-22 Maurice Touchette Instruments et méthodes pour mesurer la Terre Il sera question des instruments et méthodes pour mesurer les terrains, l’environnement ou tout ce qui a rapport à la géomatique. 23-26 David G. Schurman Quebec Law Stamps (1912-1970) 27-30 Jean Poitras Le 75e anniversaire de l’Union Postale Universelle (1949) Survol des émissions de timbres-poste en l’honneur des 75 ans d’existence de l’UPU. 31-32 Sébastien Crête Usages et tarification du timbre 1¢ Reine Victoria (1859-1968) Couverture des usages communs et non communs avec l’utilisation du 1¢ au Canada, É-U et Angleterre. 33 Robert Carswell The Société Saint-Jean-Baptiste Cinderella ”Stamps” A selection of the ”stamps” issued by the SSJB between 1930 and 1960. 34-38 Laurent Bélisle Les oblitérations de type cercle encadré du Québec Cette présentation couvrira l’ensemble des oblitérations de type cercle encadré du Québec sur enveloppe lorsque disponible. 39-41 John Cooper New Brunswick postal history – The pence era 1851 – 1860 The exhibit shows the rates for this first issue of stamps and postal markings. 42 Diane Gélinas La photographie et la philatélie en harmonie Parmi les photographes qui ont marqué l’histoire, l’un des plus renommés au Canada est Yousuf Karsh. L’exposition est sur les timbres s’y rattachant. 43 Marguerite Gauthier Sourires et babounes célèbres Approche philatélique de personnages célèbres selon leur humeur révélée par leur facilité à sourire. 44-46 François Brisse Paquebot markings on mail received in Canada as per UPU regulations The exhibit consists of letters bearing the word PAQUEBOT which was applied at Canadian post offices on the East and West coasts and on the St. Lawrence River. 47 Guy Desrosiers Timbre honorant la GRC sur du courrier « de » ou « vers » London, Ontario Présentation de courrier parti de London ou dirigé vers London. 48 Alexandra Glashan 1904-1918 Saint-Patrick’s Day postcard’s link Irish immigrants Exchanging postcards with enticing designs helped lonely Irish immigrants build a proud expat community that endures today 49 David G. Nickson Registered mail from the Australian Imperial Force (1916-1919) A display of some of the few registered envelopes mailed by A.I.F. personnel during WW1. 50 Laurent Bélisle Les tarifs et frais durant l’époque de la série banderole (1928-1930) Utilisation des timbres de la série banderole (SCROLL) pour payer les tarifs et les frais qui avaient cours durant la courte période d’utilisation. 51 François Brisse WAY MAIL markings on British Columbia (BC) coastal mail This exhibit covers an operation by the British Columbia Postal Organisation that was in usage for a short period of time.
